Representatives from the MMC have been involved with the update of the Feather River Integrated Watershed Management Plan. Our involvement with the planning process has ensured that the upper North Fork Feather River was represented.  We identified and developed numerous projects proposals that will be in the finished plan. We hope that as funds become available we will be able to partner with local land owners, land managers and organizations to implement projects that benefit water quality, enhance habitat for fish and wildlife and improve public access for both locals and visitors to the region.

Two meadow restoration projects were implemented in 2016 on private properties located in the Mountain Meadows Basin.  The purpose of these projects was to repair degraded meadows, reduce erosion and to restore the floodplain within the project areas.
